A fall arrest system like roof anchors for fall protection is a
protection gear used for slowing down and safe stopping a person who is
falling. There are other forms of fall
protection like fall guarding and fall restraints. Fall guarding is a form
of general protection that keeps the person away from the fall hazard area

hazard area safe from falling.

system:
- General fall arrest
- Personal fall arrest
The most used roof anchors for fall protection in a workplace is generally the
Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS) or also called Lifeline. This system
includes the following parts:
- Anchorage: It is a fixed structure that is used as a secure point to rig all the other parts of the fall arrest system. Also known as the roof anchors for fall protection, they are quite useful for workers’ safety.
- Bodywear/Body support: It is a full-body harness worn by the user to support the weight. It also provides a connection point on the worker for the personal fall arrest system.
- Connector/Anchorage connector: This system connects the harness to the anchorage. The worker's full body in body harness/ wear is connected using this system to the anchorage.
- Deceleration device: These are not found in all types of personal fall arrest systems but it is recommended. These are also used in fall restraint systems. This part dissipates the forces associated with the fall.
One of the most important parts of

book in case of any misshape, especially when you are working at the places
where safety is a concern. It is mandatory that all the professionals and
workers are trained and familiar with the site they are working on. This allows

The individuals who work at height
are always protected using these systems. After all, one single mistake can
prove to be deadly when you fall from a 100 storey building. For using this fall protection system, the worker
needs to have proper training in the use of such equipment. This allows that

the workers are required to have different types and different periods of
training. So, if you’re working with the industry where safety of workers is
